Miles Comer: Quickbrowse.com Review Product: Quickbrowse.com Rating: Great! Details: This site has the best idea since the shirt pocket. You take a collection of links, drop them in the box and then "quickbrowse" them by putting them all together on one page. You can do six at a time without paying, but unlimited (and can save collections) with Quickbrowse Plus, I've been a paying member since September2001. I pretty much use it to read comics all at once (so it takes up less time out of my day). Check out my Public Links. Pro: Eliminates having to bookmark pages and then go to them one at a time. Now you click one link, wait for the page to load (you do other things at this time of course, for gosh sakes don't ever just sit and wait on the computer) and then scroll down to see all your pages. Works in Linux. Con: Oddly enough, this page really taxes your processor and RAM. If your running a 166MHz computer with 32MB of RAM and then try to quickbrowse 20 or more pages all at once your computer will slow to a crawl. Of course opening up 20 Internet Explorer windows to 20 different webpages will probably have the same effect. |
