If the settings aren't printed on the board you can
either look in your motherboard manual or just experiment placing
different jumpers on different settings and seeing what happens.
Actually that last one is a REALLY bad idea, and it's probable that you
could fry your board, so only try it with equipment your willing to
lose. The layout of the board looks like this: (The 0's
represents the pins) 4 5 6
0 0 0
---------
0 0 0
1 2 3
Jumper "C" Clock Frequency
50 | 2-3 5-6
60 | 2-3 4-5
66 | 1-2 5-6
Jumper "D" Bus Frequency Multiplier
1.5x | 1-2 4-5
2.0x | 2-3 4-5
2.5x | 2-3 5-6
3.0x | 1-2 5-6
Can you tell which picture is running at the faster
clock speed? Picture 1:
C = 2-3 5-6
D = 1-2 5-6
Picture 2:
C = 1-2 5-6
D = 1-2 5-6
In Picture C the CPU clock frequency is set to 50 with a
multiplier of 3.0x (3.0 x 50 = 150). In Picture D the CPU clock
frequency is set to 66 with a multiplier of 3.0x (3.0 x 66 = 198). Next:
